My friend has stopped going to church recently, but that doesn't mean she has stopped believing in God. She just knows Him well enough to have Him around at her house now instead of always going to His.
My friend doesn't need someone to interpret the word of God for her. She feels God in every hair and muscle of her being. It isn't theological; it's just something that is as much as she is.
