No, they don't irritate me at all. In fact, I'd quite like to see the fairies and find out what they want.
No. It's probably tinitus. Just a function of advancing years and many happy hours of listening to live bands in local pubs. Look on it as a badge of honour, not a sign of senility.Simon

Actually it was Tom Sawyer who witnessed his own funeral. He became a hero because of it.Anne
