saccharine situations

Here's a high quality poetry site that you might want to have a look at, all the writing comes from one talented hand (and head):

Oddly--and perhaps a shade unbelievably--it's much more satisfying for me when I find a bunch of poems by a writer I was previously unaware of and get to draw other people's attention to them than it is to advance my own ego through publication of poems & essays I've written. That's very nice, but more in the sense that relief from discomfort is nice--not as actual pleasure. The pleasure with my own writing comes when I write it--that moment in mid-flow when you find the right word or image and you think (possibly wrongly),"Hell, nobody else could've come up with that one!"
As Gary Snyder famously said to Allen Ginsberg when Ginzy was dominating the attention of the Dalai Lama during an audience the two poets had: "Shut up Allen, the inside of your mind is no more interesting than anybody else's!"
Let's use these SUFFOLK PUNCH pages to root out more poets like "working blue" and bring them to the attention of the world.
